The announcement was made on Monday ahead of his 32nd birthday on November 21.

In a post shared on his social media page X (formerly known as Twitter), Davido revealed his plans to mark his birthday with a significant charitable contribution. The Grammy-nominated artist wrote:
“Once again, my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse and addiction. This year, it’s 300m. Details to follow soon.”
