Nigerian music superstar Davido made a stylish appearance on the runway during the opening of the 2024 Lagos Fashion Week, modeling an outfit by celebrated designer Ugo Monye. Monye, known for his exceptional craftsmanship, also styled Davido for his wedding earlier this year, creating a stunning look that became widely admired.
Dressed in Traditional Elegance
Davido was adorned in a regal brown traditional ensemble from Monye’s latest collection, complete with a striking walking stick that added an air of sophistication to his look. His appearance marked his second foray into runway modeling, following his 2022 debut at New York Fashion Week for Puma, where he showcased a custom tracksuit. Monye himself walked the runway to showcase his new collection, adding to the excitement around the designer’s presentation.
