“It all began in October 2021, when a good friend of mine invited me to a church program. There, I met Adeola. Our first encounter was pleasant but nothing to write home about we exchanged greetings, had small talk, and moved on with our lives. At that time, we didn’t think much of each other, but little did we know that our paths were destined to cross again.”
“Over the next few months, Adeola and I continued to see each other at church and through mutual friends. By 2022, our interactions grew more frequent, and what started as a casual acquaintance began to blossom into a genuine friendship. We found comfort, laughter, and understanding in each other’s presence, and it didn’t take long before we decided to take the next step and pursue a relationship.”
The Rollercoaster of Love
In the beginning, dating was exciting. We shared new experiences, enjoyed each other’s company, and grew closer with each passing day. But as with many relationships, challenges arose. By October 2022, we both began to question if we were truly meant to be together, and we decided to part ways. Believing that we were better off apart, we tried to move on by seeing other people.

In 2023, after several months apart, we realized that we wanted to reconnect, even if only as friends.
